SpotRight’s proprietary consumer social graph discovers and analyzes the social activity and connections of custom and premium audiences to give you entirely new insights while also allowing you to activate these audiences across digital media.

Dave is a startup veteran with 25 years experience leading teams to deliver cutting edge technology solutions. Prior to SpotRight, Dave was at Cisco where he utilized his background in graph theory to solve large-scale business problems. As SpotRight’s CTO, he’s the architect of our data and analytics platform. When not playing with his family, he rides bikes and climbs.

He has led high growth and revenue initiatives by providing scalable, data-rich solutions to leading direct marketers and brands. JP keeps his sanity by running 50 milers and spending time with his wife and 2 kids.

His work as co-founder and VP of consumer insights at Umbria led to breakthrough innovations in the CPG, telecommunications, and entertainment markets. Dave is a seasoned product developer and market research executive with Fortune 100 marketing strategy experience.

Rich has been an entrepreneur since 1999, starting companies that extend technology to solve emerging needs. He has started five companies, including Hypersites, a pixel-perfect website CMS, and the first iPhone volunteering app. Rich has led sessions on innovation and organizational culture for Fortune 500 companies including Microsoft, Disney, and Deloitte. Rich is a TechStars alumni and spends as much time as possible on Boulder’s trails.

Lanny has 25 years experience in software development, infrastructure administration and enterprise management. He spent six years developing software for EDS before moving to Cisco, where he held senior systems administration, development and engineering management positions. Lanny holds down a second full-time job as a husband and father of four.
Nathan Halko

Data Scientist

Nathan earned his PhD in Applied Mathematics from CU Boulder where he studied big data and distributed algorithms. His thesis work developed a randomized matrix factorization algorithm that can process massive data sets on distributed architecture. This work is currently implemented in Mahout, the top level Apache Machine Learning project. At SpotRight, Nathan couples math and theory with back end programming in our cutting edge big data stack.

Geoff has been riding the cutting edge of web technologies for 15 years. Before SpotRight, he co-founded HiveLive, an enterprise social networking company which was acquired by RightNow Technologies in 2009. As Application Architect, he built their award-winning platform from the ground up. Outside of work, Geoff is an avid musician, trail runner, and world traveler.

Chris helps SpotRight clients apply social data to their direct marketing programs and designs data solutions that impact bottom line. Prior to SpotRight, Chris worked at Spot Influence and focused on Business Development, Product Strategy, and Industry Research. He attended the University of Minnesota, Morris and received a double major in Economics and Management. Chris is enamored with big data visualization and spends his weekends at concerts or exploring Colorado’s 14ers.

Jeff got his start with data science in the ’90s, building artificial neural networks as a grad student at the University of Texas at Dallas. He now applies his complex modeling and pattern detection skills to large datasets and processes within the SpotRight system. Jeff spends his free time outdoors with family and friends.
