SpotRight, Inc. Privacy Policy:

This Privacy Policy describes the data collection and retention practices made by our company, SpotRight, Inc. (“SpotRight“), during our collection of data made public by users of the internet (“Public Data“). We are committed to protecting the privacy of the users that created the Public Data, and let this policy speak to that commitment.

    1. Our Privacy Principle Regarding Children: At no point do we purposefully gather Public Data generated by persons who are considered legally to be minors.
  1. Types of Data SpotRight Collects:
    1. Public Data – means data that has been obtained through open means on the internet through third party sites, and in no way was this data obtained by accessing a users’ account. Third party sites include, but are not limited to, Facebook, Google, Google+, Twitter, Quora, Linkedin, Blogspot, WordPress, etc. Examples of such data include a blog about bowling techniques, or tweeting about race car driving, or a wall message about sky diving on Facebook.
    2. Personal Data — means data that allows someone to identify or contact you. For example, your name, address, phone number, or company name.
    3. Information Provided by You to SpotRight:
      1. At the time of account creation we will collect Personal Data such as your first and last name, e-mail, professional title, and company name.
      2. If you contact us via e-mail, or via the site contact form, we will collect your name and e-mail address, as well as any content included in the e-mail.
      3. Site surveys are optional, but will warn you when we are going to collect additional Personal Data.
      4. At no time will SpotRight store, record, or request you to provide a password outside of the social single sign-on application. We will never send you an email indicating that you need to reset your password. Any emails stating such are false and should be reported to SpotRight immediately.
      5. Billing and payment information will be worked out on a case-by-case basis. At such a time, the details of additional Personal Data to be gathered will be made clear to the affected parties.
  2. Information Collected and Used by SpotRight:
    1. Log Data is collected on every visit to the SpotRight website. Log data is information that is gathered when you browse our site. This information can include, and is not limited to, your IP address, browser type, your domain name, web pages visited on our site, and any information provided by you on our site. The purposes of the Log Data is to help employee’s of SpotRight determine this site’s technical issues; thereby, increasing your end user experience. In no way do we associate this Log Data with your Personal Data.
    2. Our core business is gathering Public Data, correlating, and presenting that Public Data to interested third parties — Our clients. This data is gathered through an ongoing basis by a set of systems under SpotRight control, and in no way is this collection effort ever controlled or influenced by the clients of our site.
    3. SpotRight will use both session and persistent Cookies as necessary to improve the end user experience. Cookies in general are installed on your computer at the time of your visit to our site. Session cookies will automatically disappear when you close your browser. While persistent cookies will remain on your system until you delete them. We at SpotRight feel we have committed to reasonable efforts to protect what is already made publicly available. As such, we will make any legally-required disclosures of any breach of the security measures. Such disclosures can include emails or postings on this.
